Fairline is expanding its Targa line from below by adding a 40-foot model, the Targa 40. This hard-top cruiser succeeds the Targa 38, of which 300 models have been built since its launch in 2006. Its modern and sporty look is marked by a narrow V-shaped bow, imposing hull windows and a large rigid and electric hard-top.

Its large open cockpit has a starboard side bulwark that opens out to sea, with a swim ladder. The aft bathing platform can be submerged for swimming. The cockpit's modular layout offers numerous arrangements for resting, dining or sunbathing by simply tilting the backrests. The integrated garage can accommodate a 2.3 m dinghy with its electric outboard motor.

The C-shaped saloon on the port side faces an outside bar, positioned behind the cockpit. The starboard cockpit should have an ergonomic console with a Garmin touch screen and a simplified and intuitive user interface to control all the systems on board. Equipped with two pilot benches, it also has a second saloon on the port side to enjoy the navigation. The foredeck is accessible from secure gangways via a high balcony and offers a large sunbathing area and a bench seat to enjoy the navigation with a sea view.

Below deck, two cabins allow four people to spend the night. The spacious master cabin is located forward and has a headroom of 1.98 m and direct access to the private bathroom. The guest cabin located in the center of the boat offers two twin beds and a headroom of 1.5 m above the sleeping area. Both beds slide out to convert into a double bed. A fully equipped interior kitchen and its dinette opposite complete the set-up and allow you to enjoy your meals sheltered from the elements.

The Targa 38 is offered with a choice of two Volvo Penta D6-340 inboard engines rated at 680 horsepower or a D6-380, rated at 760 horsepower, for estimated top speeds of 32 and 36 knots, depending on configuration.
